Visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet , this important and outstanding monastery used as a residential palace, it became a monastery in the reign of King Ramathibodi I. Continue to visit another monastery that is Wat Chai Wattanaram located on the bank of Chao Phraya River. King Prasat Thong commanded it built in 1630. The great beauty has been reflected from the main stupa and its satellite stupas along the gallery, an architecture influenced by Khmer. 13:00 hrs : Welcome onboard the luxurious cruiser 'Grand Pearl' at Wat Potangtai Pier near Bangsai (the royal folk arts and handicraft center). Superb buffet lunch which include delightful variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served. In the meantime , you will relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings, witnessing the rural Thai life along both side of the mighty river. This tour takes you to visit the world famous bridge on the River Kwai, built during Wold War II by the prisoners of war. The bridge is located near the town of Kanchanaburi, 130 kms west of Bangkok. You will visit the well-kept war cemetary, which contain the graves of an estiamted 7,000 allied soldiers who lost their lives while building the bridge and constructing the notorious Death Railway which the Japanese has hoped to stretch all the way to Burmese Border. Lunch is included. After lunch takes you to visit Wat Luangtamahabua or Tiger Temple to visit teh temple that looks after the orphan tigers in the canyon, you can touch them and take pictures with them.
